Conor McGregor Cuffed And Charged For Attacking UFC Bus

by HHL JT

There was some strange drama yesterday over whether or not the NYPD was going to arrest Conor McGregor for going nuts on a bus full of UFC fighters leaving Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, breaking the vehicle's window with a dolly and injuring several fighters.

UFC boss Dana White said that there was a warrant out for Conor's arrest.  But an NYPD spokesman pushed back and said there wasn't. However, McGregor was arrested late last night. This morning he was escorted out of a Brooklyn police station in cuffs.

He's being charged with misdemeanor assault and felony criminal mischief.

McGregor and Sian Cowley, who's in his entourage and was involved in the incident, will both be arraigned today in Brooklyn Criminal Court.

White has called Conor's attack on the bus  “the most disgusting thing that has ever happened” in UFC history.

Conor hasn't competed in the UFC since November of 2016 and the 29-year old may never compete again after this.
