Ciara Is Suing Future Big For Slander & Libel

by HHL Editors

We didn't see this one coming.

Ciara is suing Future for $15 million for calling her a bad mom. Since his criticism came on social media and during radio interviews, she's accusing him of slander (spoken) and libel (written.)

According to TMZ, who's seen the lawsuit, Ciara objected to a radio interview in which Future said this about a photo of Ciara's new dude Russell Wilson pushing Baby Future in a stroller.

"She probably set him [Russell] up. You letting them catch that photo. Leave my son out of all the publicity stunts."
She also called out Future for a January Twitter rant in which he claims he gives her 15K a month in child support, but that she wasn't allowing him to see his son.

In the suit, Ciara says she goes out of her way to let Future see their child, and he has had 19 visitations -- some spanning several days -- since December of 2014.

Ciara also claims Future knew the statements he made about her parenting were false, and that he is using his feud with her to promote his music.

Slander and liable are both notoriously hard to prove in the U.S. legal system.

So far no word from Future on the lawsuit.
