Chris Brown's Family Is Worried Gang Affiliations Will Ruin His Career

According to the "multiple sources" who have talked to TMZ, Chris Brown's mother and girlfriend Karrueche are so concerned that Brown is still running with members of the Bloods that they are considering staging an intervention.

The pair have reached out to a therapist in hopes they can impress upon Breezy that his gang affiliations are jeopardizing both his career and his personal safety.

For his part, Brown denied he has any real gang ties in an interview with MTV that aired yesterday

"I’m cordial,” he said about his relationship with gangs. "When you’re in L.A. and you’re around people, you meet everybody.  You meet Crips, you meet Bloods, especially in this industry that I’m in ... I’m not in the country world, I’m not in the all-the-way pop world. [When] you’re in hip-hop, all of that meshes."

Yesterday Brown also lashed out at TMZ founder Harvey Levin, whose website has been the go to spot for the latest misdoings of Brown and his entourage. Breezy posted a picture of Levin on Instagram with this message:

"What the devil looks like in person. Lol. You sad little man. You’ve been trying for years to destroy me. It won’t work. Your efforts are flattering. When you look back on your life when it’s that time for you to depart, what can u actually say you’ve accomplished in life? Bringing people down and being the number one source for negativity. Life’s too short homie. Find some sort of happiness. You are a grown ass man. God bless you bruh."

Somebody must have convinced Brown that going after Levin and his bully pulpit wasn't such a good strategy, and after a few hours he took the post down.

Are you worried about Breezy?
