Chris Brown Settles Basketball Assault Case

by HHL Editors

Chris Brown just paid the man who claims he assaulted him last year during a basketball game. But, all in all, it was still a W for Breezy.

Malcolm Ausbon alleges that Brown went crazy during a pick up game at 24 Hour Fitness in LA last February after a foul was called on him. He claims Brown started screaming about how he was a Blood before beating  Ausbon down with the help of two of his goons.

Ausbson reportedly had to go to the emergency room with injuries to his face, neck, head, back, ribs and legs.  He then sued Brown and 24 Hour Fitness for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence

The number being tossed around at the beginning of the suit was $250,000. But apparently Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos were able to get Ausbson to settle for a "nuisance payment" of no more than four figures.

The Game, who has his own pick up basketball lawsuit woes, should be so lucky.
