Chris Brown Is Still Locked Up In England & Gets Officially Charged

Chris Brown was arrested yesterday in Manchester, England for allegedly smashing a bottle over music producer's Abe Diaw's head. 

The supposed incident happened at London's Tape nightclub in 2023.

The R&B singer has since been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm, and he'll be locked up until his June 13 court date. He appeared in Manchester Magistrates' Court today, around 10:00 am.

According to Diaw, Chris not only hit him with the bottle, but he also beat him up, before kicking his motionless body while it was on the ground.

Why Chris felt that he could fly into England and not be arrested for the incident is unknown. Perhaps he thought the assault had a statute of limitations.

Either way, his tour will probably be affected, because he's scheduled to play in Amsterdam on June 8, and in Germany a few days later.

We'll have to see how all of this plays out.
