Chris Brown Hits At Media After His Breezy Album Has Weak Opening

Chris Brown's Breezy album did 73K in its opening week.

Those aren't terrible numbers, but they are pretty slight for an artist of Brown's stature.

In an Instagram Live post, Brown suggested that his soft sales are a result of the media only paying attention to him when there's a negative story about him.

“July 8th breezy deluxe album, not that is matters…,” he typed. “SEEMS LIKE YALL ONLY INVEST IN THE NEGATIVE STORIES ABOUT ME. CHRIS GETS IN TROUBLE (THE WHOLE WORLD IS ON it). Chris drops album…[cricket emojis].”

Perhaps the media reporting on the poor sales of Breezy will end up helping the deluxe version get sales.
