Chris Brown is trapped in the Philippines.
He arrived on the island nation earlier this week, and played a show in its capital city of Manila on Wednesday. Then he was supposed to fly to Hong Kong.
However, Filipino officials will not let him leave, because they say he owes Iglesia ni Cristo, a powerful religious organization on the island, a million bucks for skipping out on their New Year's Eve show last year.
Brown said he wasn't able make the scheduled Dec. 31 appearance because of passport issues.
On Instagram today, Brown posted a video with him on his knees and begging to be allowed to leave.
"Obama!!!!!" Chris Brown wrote in the caption, even though Breezy is about the last person the President would intervane on behalf of in an international dispute.
