Chiefs Running Back Kareem Hunt Cut By Team For Assaulting Woman

by Benny Franklin

It wasn't a good day for Chiefs Running Back, Kareem Hunt.

Earlier today, TMZ reported that Hunt was caught on hotel camera in Cleveland, "shoving, bull-rushing and kicking a woman."

The event in question took place on February 10, 2018. Hunt is seen arguing with a young woman outside of a room at The Metropolitan at the 9" hotel in Cleveland, Ohio.

In the security footage, you can see Hunt shove a woman, who hits him back in the face. As his friends are trying to hold him back, he bull rushes knocking his friend into the woman, sending them both to the floor. He then proceeds to kick the woman while she is down.

Police were called, but no arrests were made. According to the report, the cops couldn't determine if a crime was committed.

Supposedly, the Chiefs talked to Hunt about the situation back when it happened and determined he wouldn't be suspended. They tried to obtain the security footage but were told only law enforcement could obtain it. Hunt was not suspended this year for the incident.

But with today's footage and news, Hunt was put on the NFL's commissioner exempt list. The Kansas City Chiefs also cut ties with the running back who they said lied to them about the incident.
