Chief Keef Comments On Being Banned From BET

by HHL Editors

Chief Keef hasn't been played on BET in a couple years, and there have long been hints of a Sosa ban on the Viacom owned station.

Last week, former Former 106 & Park host Bow Wow confirmed the ban.

"BET banned Sosa. I was fighting to get sosa on 106; it was a no go from the uppers. They really blackballed him from mainstream it’s crazy,” he wrote on IG.

Keef responded to Bow Wow's revelation and doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

As for why he was banned?

Back in 2014, Sosa had suggested he was blacklisted from the network because he didn't show up for a 106 & Park appearance. Earlier Tweets from Sosa suggest he was still pissed at BET for not inviting him to the 2013 BET awards when he skipped out.

Three years later, does a BET ban even matter?
