Chief Keef Is The Most Profane Rapper

by HHL Editors

In typical conversation, one in every 152 words is a profanity.

In a Chief Keef song, it's one in every 20.

The folks at musixmatch.com analyzed the lyrics of 361 artists in eight different genres for swear words. (Here is the full list of the words they consider bad.)

Hip Hop was by far the most profane genre, and Chief Keef was the dirtiest rapper.

Dr. Dre (1 out of 21), N.W.A. (1 out of 22), A$AP Rocky (1 out of 23) and Young Thug (1 out of 25) rounded out the top five.

Other notable rappers include Busta Rhymes (1 out of 26) Tupac Shakur (1 out of 29) and Lil Wayne (1 out of 31.)

While rappers made up almost all of the most profane artists, the most profane came from a different genre.

Muixmatch.com pegged EDM superstar Diplo at 1 profanity for every 14 words. Although it should be noted that he has very few proper solo tracks, and very few lyrics in those tracks.
