Teka$hi 69 has been dominating the news with his antics.

But can he sell music?

The NYC rapper dropped his debut album Day69 yesterday.  So far the answer is  ... maybe.

Hits Daily Double is projecting Day69 does 50 to 60K first week with a solid 20-25K of that being pure sales.

For comparison, Nipsey Hussle's debut album Victory Lap did 47k first week last week.

Going back a bit, Lil Yachty's debut album Teenage Emotions did 46K first week and Lil Uzi Vert's Luv Is Rage 2 did 135K.

Did you listen to Day69? If so, what did you think?
