J. Cole’s 4 Your Eyez Only has only been out for a day, but we already have first-week sales projections from HDD. A combination of preorders, streaming, and single sales will give Cole a projected 550-575k sales plus streaming in just the first week. This puts him on track to beat his 2014 Forest Hills Drive first week sales of 371k.

Cole will likely knock his UMG labelmate, The Weeknd, off the top of the charts. Starboy earned 348k equivalent album units in its first week. After its release on Friday, 4 Your Eyez Only jumped to #1 on iTunes and on Apple Music’s streaming albums charts.

If Cole does best the Weeknd's 348K opening week, he will have have the third biggest opening of 2016, trailing only Drake’s Views (1.04 million) and Beyonce’s Lemonade (643,000.)

In other chart news, Tech N9ne's The Storm is set to do 40-45K and Post Malone's Stoney is projected for 30-35K. No HDD projections for Ab-Soul's Do What Thou Wilt, which suggests it didn't have a very good opening, despite strong reviews.
