Charles Barkley Speaks After Securing Massive Bag From TNT

by HHL JT

There had been some chatter that Charles Barkley was going to leave TNT's Inside The NBA -- and Ernie, Kenny, and Shaq - - when his contract ended.

Rebel golf tour Liv had been mentioned as Sir Charles's next landing spot.

Instead, he'll be staying at TNT.

Earlier this week, Turner announced that they had reached a new ten-year deal with Chuck, who will be paid between $100 and $200 million for his commentary services.

The ex-NBA great said this about the megadeal.

"We’re all a big family – Ernie, Kenny and Shaquille are brothers to me – and I wouldn’t still be here if it wasn’t for them and all the amazing people who work on our show. I’m not gonna lie, though, this is a life-altering deal…and I’m blessed to be able to do live television for a living," he said.

During Barkley's Hall of Fame basketball career, the most he ever made in a year was $9 million.  He got that in 2000, his last season in the league.
