The general consensus is that Nick Cannon scored two own goals when he tried to attack Eminem with back-to-back diss tracks "The Invitation" and "Pray For Him."
Charlamange Tha God disagrees
"First of all, Eminem lost and the reason he lost is because he made Nick Cannon do what none of us want him to do and that's rap," said CTG on The Breakfast Club.
Then he got a little more serious:
"I think that Nick Cannon won that one. I think that Nick Cannon and The Black Squad -- even though they jumped Eminem -- I think they got that one."
Next, he responded to 50 Cent's assertation that attacking Em is a fool's errand.
"We got to stop acting like Eminem has ever really washed someone. Who has he battled ..? What rappers has Em battled? Canibus is the probably the best lyricist Em has ever gone after. But Canibus wasn't in his prime."
"But what about Ja Rule", wondered DJ Envy.
"All of Interscope at the time jumped Ja Rule," CTG yelled. "50 started it, G-Unit jumped in, D12 jumped in, Dr. Dre jumped in, Em jumped in.
Moby, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Nick Cannon. Who has Eminem got busy with for real, for real?
Eminem has also come after Charlamagne, so they may factor into his criticism. That aside, does CTG have a point?
