Charlamagne Apologizes to Kwame Brown

by HHL JT

After Kwame Brown's blow-up with Stephen Jackson, Gilbert Arenas and Matt Barnes, Charlamagne weighed in.

He told his Breakfast Club audience to lay off on Kwame because he had a murderer for a dad and two murderers for brothers, and that can be rough on a guy.

Kwame didn't like that CTG aired his family's dirty laundry one bit and reminded everyone that CTG once had to take a plea in a case in which he was accused of raping an underage girl.

That got Kwame a cease and desist letter from CTG's lawyers, and Kwame clarified that CTG had pleaded to lesser charges, calling him a "lesser charge a$$ bitch."

This morning on The Breakfast Club, CTG didn't comment on his legal move.  but he did apologize to Brown for speaking on his violent family history, explaining that Kwame's non-murderer family had called him out.

“I can't take those words, but I can apologize," he said about his revelations.  "sure I caused pain for not only Kwame Brown but for his family—‘specially, his family in my hometown of Moncks Corner, South Carolina. You know how I know? Because I spoke to a few of them. I apologize for triggering them.

Since I unintentionally caused trauma, I need to be intentional about causing healing."
