Chance The Rapper Fires Back At Spike Lee

by HHL Editors

The awkward beef between Chance the Rapper and Spike Lee, whom Chance has known his whole life, continues.

It started last year when Chance was among the many Chicago rappers who ripped Spike Lee's movie Chi-Raq for misrepresenting their city.

Then it heated up last week when the famed director called Chance a "fraud" during a Q&A session at Northwestern University, which is in Chicago's northern suburbs.

Chance has now responded to Spike, and he's gone the personal route. No, he didn't accuse Lee of being gay -- which is what fellow Chi-town spitter King Louie did. Instead, he threatened to reveal an incriminating voice recording of Spike begging Chance to be in Chi-Raq.

Come on now This guy promoting this offensive unsuccessful flop of a movie ... about the Southside...in fucking Evanston...
