Drake mentioned Chance The Rapper in a somewhat shady way on his 2014 track "Draft Day."

"And if I left this shit to chance I would've picked a name like Chance the Rapper
Yeah, no offense cause I don't know that nigga
I'm focused on making records and gettin' bigger," Dake rapped.

Chance was just on The Joe Budden Show.  During the chat, he reminded Budden that Joe wanted him to come back at Drake for that mention.

"You wanted me to come out and make a diss record against Drake?" Chance said.

Then Chance explained why he didn't.

"I saw what it feels like to still be a good lyricist, and rap at Drake, and nobody cares," Chance continued. "'Cause you did it before."

Budden, of course, made multiple Drake diss records when they were beefing, and now he's retired from rap.

For Joe's part, he seemed to agree that coming back at Drake can be a futile exercise.
