Chance The Rapper was so impressed with Kanye West's song "Donda" that he endorsed him for President over Joe Biden.
And yall out here tryna convince me to vote for Biden. Smfh https://t.co/JgbGBmPQk5— Chance The Rapper (@chancetherapper) July 13, 2020
The only problem is that Kanye isn't really running for President. He's already missed the filing deadlines in some major states and is making no efforts to hit them in the remaining states. Ye's family believes the announcement was part of a bi-polar episode.
Twitter pointed this out to Chance.
If you use your platform to encourage Black people to vote for Kanye West, who has no chance of being elected to office, you will simply help re-elect racist Donald Trump.— Keith Boykin (@keithboykin) July 13, 2020
He's a good rapper and producer, but he's mentally unstable and has no chance of winning considering that it's past the deadline in multiple states for him to register. Pushing this on your platform is going to take votes away from Biden and get Trump re-elected. Please stop.— DJ Vlad - VladTV.com (@djvlad) July 13, 2020
chance i love you but shut the fuck up— Professor Finesser™ (@AlmightyPerkins) July 13, 2020
Tweeting this is irresponsible even if it’s a joke.— Shataki (@shataki) July 13, 2020
It doesn't look like he was joking, as Chance didn't back down, and appears willing to wear a clown nose in service of Kanye, his musical hero.
Are u more pro biden or anti ye and why? I get that you’ll want to reply that you’re just tryna “get trump out” but in this hypothetical scenario where you’re replacing Trump, can someone explain why Joe Biden would be better??— Chance The Rapper (@chancetherapper) July 13, 2020
I finally got the answer now. I understand. Yall trust Biden more than yall trust Ye. I think I understand why, I just don’t feel the same way.— Chance The Rapper (@chancetherapper) July 13, 2020
What do you think about all of that?
