Chance The Rapper Buys $2.3 Million Mansion In Illinois Near Michael Jordan's Estate

by Daryl Nelson

Technically, Chance The Rapper is still an independent artist and choosing not to sign a record deal has worked for him.

That's based on the $2.3 million mansion he bought in Bannockburn, Illinois near Michael Jordan's estate.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Chance and his wife Kirsten purchased the five-bedroom house in September and it's said to be 9,251 square feet. It also has six half bathrooms, a pool, a four-car garage, a music studio, an exercise room, a movie theater, and recreation room.

Jordan's estate is about 10 minutes away from the house, which the retired hoop star put on the market years ago and is still having trouble selling it.

Are you surprised to hear that Chance is able to cop a mansion at that price as an indie artist?
