Carmelo Anthony Says He's Surprised An NBA Team Hasn't Signed Him Yet

Carmelo Anthony is surprised he's still unemployed.

"I don't really want to get into all that but I'm surprised, of course. It is what it is at this point," Melo told reporters. "I'm sitting back waiting to see what happens. Spending time with the family right now, that's all I can focus on and other things I have going. [I still want to play in the league] 2,000 percent. Make that the headline."

The 6'8" forward hasn't played since the 2018/2019 season after being released by the Houston Rockets after playing just 10 games. He was with the Oklahoma City Thunder before that and never seemed to gel with the team. 

There were rumors that he was going to join Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the Brooklyn Nets but that never happened.
