Cardi B's 'Bodak Yellow' Sets Chart Milestone For Female Rapper

by HHL Editors

Cardi B's 'Bodak Yellow' is the number one song in the land.

Cardi is now the first female rapper to grab the top spot on the Billboard 100 without a feature since Lauryn Hill's 'Doo Wop (That Thing)' in 1998, and the second ever. She's also the first solo female artist to take her debut single to #1 since Meaghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" in 2014.

Bodak Yellow knocked Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' out of the top spot.

But its reign at number one could be short-lived. Number two with a rocket this week on the Billboard 100 is the new Post Malone featuring 21 Savage jam 'Rockstar', which has already set Apple Music's all-time streaming record in its debut week.

Which track do you prefer, 'Bodak Yellow' or 'Rockstar'?
