Cardi B Says Joe Budden's 'Bongos' Criticism Is Personal, Joe Responds

by Daryl Nelson

Joe Budden was adamant that Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's new single "Bongos" would be a flop, despite all of the attention it's gotten.

Cardi has since responded to his comments, and she believes that he has something against her — especially because he interviewed her enemy Tasha K

"I feel like this guy has an issue with me," stated Cardi. “It was beyond the critique of 'Bongos.' You inviting b*tches that said the rudest, nastiest sh*t … When Mal and Rory say f*ck sh*t about you or lies about you, you get so defensive, you want to clear it up. You came at Taxstone because Taxstone said something about you. You want to clear it up."

Joe responded on his podcast and said he's confused at why Cardi is so upset since he just gave his personal opinion and praised her many times in the past.

"I stand on what I said about the song, and I said it pretty respectfully," said Joe. " If I didn’t hear nothing from none of y'all the 9 million times that I bigged you up, I definitely don’t want to hear from you the one time I didn’t."

Do you think Joe has something personal against Cardi? Moreover, what's your opinion of "Bongos?"
