Cardi B Fires Back After Someone Implies She Only Has Hits Because Of TikTok

by Daryl Nelson

Earlier this year, someone accused Cardi B of only making songs for TikTok, which she denied.

The Bronx rapper is now firing back at another claim: That she only has hits because of the social networking platform. The person who posted that message didn't say those words exactly but it was implied.

Then in her response, Cardi said that she had hits before TikTok, while also expressing confusion why using the platform to make a song popular is a problem.

Do you think a rapper has less legitimacy if they score a hit on TikTok, as opposed to the streets co-signing a song first?
