Cardi B Explains Why She Doesn't Have To Support Other Female Rappers

by Daryl Nelson

Cardi B is known to answer her critics on social media, whether she's responding to someone who criticized her music or physical appearence.

One of her latest clapbacks came after she said she doesn't feel the need to support other female rappers. The New York native made the comments in a recent XXL interview, got slammed for it, then responded.

"I DONT HAVE TO SUPPORT FEMALE RAPPERS HOWEVER I STILL DO IT," tweeted Cardi. "There's a difference between having too and doing it cause I WANT TO. Don't come to my page , don't mention my name then ask why I'm replying when ya all in MY QUOTES."

Someone then called Cardi a "lying rat" and asked her if she remembers what she did in 2018, which seems to be a reference to Cardi trying to fight Nicki Minaj at a New York Fashion Week party that year.

"What I did in 2018? Stand up for myself cause I'm not p*ssy ?" wrote the "WAP" rapper. "Ya want me to be p*ssy soo bd ! My karma? This is what comes with sh*t. My career still very strong and ya still got me on ya mind and the millions is coming so this Karma feels real good."

Any response to this?
