Cardi B Buys Her Mom A Huge House In New York

Cardi B just bought her mom a lavish new house in New York.

The rapper showed off the new digs on video and explained that she wanted to buy her mother a house for a while, but couldn't afford a nice one until now. 

"Last year I was so thirsty to buy my mom a home, and I can only afford a house that costs $600,000 and you know, we live in New York so cribs that look like that look like shit," said the "Money" rapper. "I waited until I could afford her dream home and I copped it."

There's no word on how much Cardi laid out for the house, but it has two stories, a gym, and a large basement area.

Last week, news broke that Cardi is going to be one of the judges on Netflix's new music competition Rhythm & Flow, which she received backlash for because she doesn't write her own raps.  So maybe whatever money she received from that helped her buy the new crib.
