Cardi B Says The Hip-Hop Cops Targeted Offset In Recent Arrest

by Daryl Nelson

Cardi B said her husband Offset was singled out by the Hip Hop cops when he was arrested in Georgia a few days ago.

The Migos rapper was pulled over for having too much tint and crossing the double yellow lines and then police found guns and drugs in the car

The rapper was hit with 4 charges: Possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a weapon during a crime, possession of marijuana and committing an improper lane change.

Offset's lawyer agreed with Cardi's theory that the cops are coming for her hubby.

“It’s a common theme,” said Drew Findling in an interview with TMZ.  "We’re talking about a young, African-American man driving a shiny, beautiful luxury car and clad in designer clothes and watches and jewelry. Unfortunately, people in his genre become a target for law enforcement who think that lifestyle is connected to some illegal activity and that is a sad statement.”

Cardi also said the guns in the car weren't Offset's, and that she would stick with him if he's forced to do a prison bid.

Meanwhile, the Invasion of Privacy rapper and her husband are dealing with even more drama, because they were recently sued by that autograph seeker who was beaten up in New York City earlier this year.
