Cardi B And Offset Sued Again For "Savage Assault"

by HHL JT

Autograph hound Giovanni Arnold has sued Offset and Cardi for ordering a beatdown of him after he asked Cardi for an autograph as the couple left a Met Gala afterparty at the Mark Hotel in NYC

“This action arises following a savage assault that took place in the early hours of May 8, 2018 outside a Met Gala afterparty. Upon seeing Cardi B and Offset exit the Mark Hotel, Mr. Arnold asked for an autograph. Not willing to stop for a fan, Cardi B and her entourage blew past the Plaintiff, ignoring him,” the suit, assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, reads. “When Mr. Arnold repeated his request, Cardi B turned to Plaintiff and threatened to ‘slap the s– outta’ him. Defendant Offset then directed Mr. Arnold to ‘shut up, bro, before a n–a beat you out here.’ As Defendants Cardi B and Offset entered their waiting vehicle, they ordered the Unknown Assailants to attack Plaintiff.”

Yesterday, the Mark Hotel filed paperwork against Offset and Cardi, saying only they and not the hotel are to blame for what happened to Arnold.

“In the event that Defendant Mark Hotel LLC (“Mark Hotel”) is held liable for all or any part of the damages alleged to have been sustained by Plaintiff, as set forth in the Complaint, or any cross-claims, which liability is expressly denied, such liability will have been brought about and caused solely as a result of the fault, negligence, acts or omissions, want of care and/or breach of contract on the part of Belcalis Almanzar p/k/a Cardi B, Kiari Kendrell Cephus p/k/a Offset and Quality Control Management LLC, without any fault, negligence or want of care on the part of Mark Hotel,” the paperwork reads.

Yesterday was a tough day for Offset all around. He was also hit with four charges, including two felonies -- possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a weapon during a crime -- after a traffic stop in Georgia. He just got out of jail.
