Cam'ron's Mom Reveals What Cam Got For Ghostwriting "Crush On You"; Defies Sony

by HHL JT

Ghostwriting has been a part of Hip Hop forever. (Did you know that JAY-Z wrote "Still Dre" for Dr. Dre. You probably did.)

Cam'ron has done his share of ghostwriting over the years, and his proud mom jumped on Instagram yesterday to disclose what Cam got for ghostwriting Lil Cease's verse on the Lil Kim hit "Crush On You" and how he got that job.

Mase is paid to write for Kim, gives his man Cam'ron $5K to write Crush On You for Cease. Killa!," reads the post.

She also revealed that Cam co-wrote the 2000 3LW hit "No More (Baby I'ma Do Right)" and suggested Sony doesn't want you to know that.

"SONY keeps blocking my other 3LW posts so let's see how this one works out. If you've seen the other one several times, that's the reason why 😩. Camron actually co wrote it," Mama Giles said.

What's your favorite ghostwriting story? And, no, Nas didn't write "Gettin' Jiggy With It".
