C-Murder is serving life for the assault and murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas in 2002, but he's still staying in touch with his loved ones, even if there is family drama.

Some of the drama involves C-Murder's ex, Monica Denise, who has been advocating for his release.

Not everyone is a fan of her efforts, but C-Murder is, and spoiled her for her birthday this year. 

To show his appreciation for her loyalty, he gifted her with roses, a cake, and Louis Vuitton, which she thanked him for, and said the cake was "fire."
