The clip is from June when he was performing at Seoul Taco’s 10th-anniversary block party in Missouri.

Busta Rhymes rails against COVID lockdowns and masks:

“No human being is supposed to tell you you can’t even breathe freely. Fuck your mask!”

“Stop trying to take our civil liberties away…Energy is important.”pic.twitter.com/CDpbTCk3bT

"In the last 15 f*ckin' months, COVID could suck a d*ck," said Busta. "All these little weird ass government policies and mandates, suck a d*ck. Stop trying to take our civil liberties away. Feels good to be back outside. We outside for real. It's called the God-given right of freedom, right? No human-being supposed to tell you you can't even breathe freely. F*ck your mask."

"I can't rhyme to you with a mask on," he added. "We can't eat food with a f*ckin' mask on. We can't even see each other smile with a mask on. Damn, yo. I come from a time where before I even used to wanna holla at a chick, I used to have to do sh*t with my face to let her know that I'm into her. All of that energy gets blocked when your mask is on. Energy is important and we are all conductors of f*ckin' good energy."

Talking head Roland Martin was among those who came down on Busta Buss for his anti-mask POV.

"What we are witnessing are people who have significant platforms, who sound about as dumb as Donald Trump about injecting bleach and sunlight into your body and it’s going to come out of your body,” said Martin on his show Roland Martin Unfiltered.

Meanwhile, a lot of other rappers seem cool with mask mandates, including will.i.am, who's selling a smart mask for nearly $300.
