Brazilian Authorities Tell Kanye West That He Can't Perform In Their Country

by Daryl Nelson

Kanye West continues to have trouble putting together a tour for his Vultures album.

Earlier this month, two of the biggest show promoters, Live Nation and AEG, turned down his request to perform in arenas. Now, promoters in Brazil can be added to that list.

The U.S. Sun reports that Ye wanted to put on a free concert in Rio De Janiero’s Copacabana beach, but local authorities turned him down because of his antisemitic remarks and "controversial" image.

Ye's requests to perform at Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium and Maracena Stadium were also rejected.

The news comes shortly after he and Ty Dolla $ign attended the first night of Rolling Loud California last week and were accused of swindling promoters, because they played Vultures 1 songs without performing them.

That's despite their show being billed as an actual performance and not a listening event.

What's your thoughts on Brazilian authorities turning down Ye's concert requests?
