Bow Wow Explains Why He Stays Away From Jermaine Dupri These Days

Jermaine Dupri helped Bow Wow achieve a lot of success as a kid rapper since they both churned out hits back in the day.

In 2023, however, they're on the outs with each other. Bow spoke about it on the My Expert Opinion podcast, while explaining why he stays away from J.D. these days. [Jump to the 1:29-mark]

"I always have respect for you. It's love but [I'm almost 40]," said Bow about Dupri. "I'm straight. I don't need no motherf*cking daddy right now. I'm a daddy myself. I'm cool where I'm at in life. I'm content, I'm happy, healthy, I'm straight."

Later in the interview, Bow said that he once told J.D. that Snoop Dogg means more to him than he does. Snoop discovered Bow at a 1993 show in Ohio.

"You will never be over Snoop," Bow said he told the So So Def founder. "Won't happen. Never in life."
