Boosie Explains Why He Is Naming His New Album 'BooPac'

by HHL Editors

Comparing yourself to 2Pac is a surefire way to piss people off.

Boosie Badazz has titled his upcoming album BooPac, and he knows folks will criticize him for it.

In an interview with Vlad TV, Boosie explained why he decided to name the 26 track double disc after a sacred legend.

"I'm my generation's 2Pac," Boosie says. "A lot of people didn't grow up on Tupac. A lot people didn't grow up on Biggie. Those who love that kinda music grew up on me. That's one reason," he explained.  "Another reason is that Pac music is forget about now. That real music ... that feel like he was brought into your household with you, like he was your cousin ... that music is forgot about right now. "I know people will come at me for it," Boosie added. "[All I ask] is that they give me a chance and listen to it."
There's no set date for BooPac, but expect it this year. Boosie speaks on the project at around the 3 minute mark.

What do you think about the title?
