Bone Thugs-n-Harmony May Partner With Ice Cube For Biopic

Straight Out of Compton producer Ice Cube might be plotting his next movie success. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony think they may have recruited "Uncle Cube" to make the next big Hip Hop biopic.

Krayzie Bone thinks he has a found the perfect point to connect Bone Thugs' movie story to Straight Out of Compton, and Cube is all ears

"The way they set it up by bringing the cassette tape in the hospital room with Eazy—that’s where we want to pick the movie up,” he told HipHopDX. “I had some conversations with Ice Cube when we did How The West Was Won concert a few months ago. I told him I wanted to sit down and if he wanted to hear our story, I guaranteed he would think it was interesting. He was like, ‘Hell yeah, let me know when you want to sit down."
A Bone Thugs movie would have no shortage of drama: Bizzy's childhood abduction, Flesh's 10 year prison sentence for threatening his friend with an assault rifle, and a litany of breakups and makeups. It also would be full of hip hop cameos: Eazy E signing the group, giving Big Pun his debut verse, and recording with both Biggie and Pac.

While the movie is only an idea right now, let's hope it turns into a real project. One of Hip Hop's most underrated groups deserves their time to shine.
