The Boi-1da Beat On 'O to 100' Triggered Fight Between Diddy And Drake

Producer Boi-1da couldn't have asked for better publicity.  It turns out that it was his beat -- not Diddy's squeeze Cassie -- that sparked the (one sided) fight between Didddy and Drake.

According to TMZ, Boi-1da had given both Diddy and Drake a beat eight months ago. Diddy  sat on it, so Drake decided just to record it, and it became his hit ''0-100/The Catch Up'

Diddy felt this was disrespectful, especially since it did well, and that was why he screamed "You'll never disrespect me again" early Monday morning in Miami before socking the Canadian.

TMZ also reports that Drake did in fact end up hospitalized. However, it was because he exacerbated an old shoulder injury in the ruckus, not because his face was damaged by a Puffy punch.
