Bobby Shmurda has a lot on his plate with his trial for drugs, guns and conspiracy to commit murder begining next Wednesday.

Now, on the outside, his associates are turning up dead.

Police have identified a body that washed up on a Brooklyn beach earlier this week as Peter Martinez, a high ranking member of the Shmurda-associated G Stone Crips crew.

The 28-year old had been wrapped in plastic bags and had 100 pounds of cement on his feet.

The authorities believe whoever tried to dispose of Martinez's body botched the job by getting air into the cement, which allowed it to float to the surface.

Martinez, who had a pregnant girlfriend, had been missing for three weeks. He reportedly "owed a lot money. He had been arrested 31 times, and had served time for identity theft.

Last month, two of Shmruda's close GS9 associates were convicted of murder.
