Bobby Shmurda Pleads Not Guilty To All Charges

by HHL Editors

Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel and 13 other members of their GS9 crew were in court today for the first time since they were arrested December 17 on 69 charges from drug distribution to conspiracy to commit murder.

During a three and half hour hearing in the Manhattan Supreme Court, the 15 defendants each plead not guilty to all charges against them. Their next scheduled court date is on April 22nd.

Shmurda's new lawyer, Kenneth Montgomery, argued that the $2 million bail set for his client was "extremely unfair." But the judge refused to reduce the bail on any of the defendants.

There was also some clarification on what Shmurda's former attorney Howard Greenberg said last week about the Brooklyn DA dropping their gun charges against Shmurda. Apparently that was simply a procedural matter, and the charges are just being moved to another part of the case.

All in all, not such a great day for Bobby. He's still facing a lot of serious charges and barring a sudden change it looks like he'll be locked up until at least late April.
