Bobby Shmurda Gets Shipped Up North After Surviving Stabbing Attempt

by HHL Editors

Prison hasn't been easy for Bobby Shmurda.

The 'Hot Nigga' rapper, who has about five years to go before possible parole, was the target of an attempted mealtime stabbing last month. He saw the attack coming and was able to escape uninjured.

“These are low lives,” Shmurda's spokesman Allen DeWane explained. “They think they can score brownie points if they get a star.”
DeWane added that because Shmurda is being targeted by the Bloods he has been placed in protective custody and was moved to Clinton Correctional in upstate New York.

The rural prison is known as "Little Siberia" because of its notoriously low temperatures and proximity to the Canadian border. Rappers Tupac and Old Dirty Bastard both served time there.

This week, Shmurda pled guilty to one count of attempted promoting of prison contraband and will serve 1.3 to four years in state prison. That sentence will run concurrent to the seven years he received last year when he pled guilty to conspiracy and weapons charges.

Hopefully he'll be able to stay safe up north.
