Bobby Shmurda has a parole hearing today, so if everything goes his way he'll be a free man afterward.
The hearing falls on the same day as the rapper's 26th birthday and comes a couple of weeks after a countdown clock appeared on the internet that showed an August 4th release date for him.
Bobby's sentence is officially supposed to end this coming December, so even if he doesn't get released today he doesn't have that long to go. The birthday boy is trending on Twitter today and a lot of people left messages about his possible release.
