Bad Boy rapper Black Rob has died at age 51 of kidney failure.
The world learned of Rob's plight earlier this month when a video of a feeble-looking Rob paying tribute to the late DMX from his hospital bed hit social media.
Days after that, Rob was out of the hospital and he explained his situation:
“Hold up. Oh man, I mean, I’ve been dealing with this for five years,” he explains. “Four strokes. I don’t know what to tell you man. Sh*t is crazy. This sh*t is hard. I don’t got no house to live in — except maybe an apartment for Me and my man be trying to get together. I’m telling you man, this sh*t is strange. It’s hard, you know what I’m saying? I don’t know what the people want to do, what the people going to say. I need some rest, man. Really, man. I need some rest, man. My side is killing me. Oh sh*t. I don’t want to talk about it no more. ”
Concerned fans set up a GoFundMe account for Rob, and there was word that Diddy tried to reach out.
However, days after that Rob was back in an Atlanta hospital, where he passed away.
