Birdman Sued For Non-Payment

Hip Hop insider Wendy Day helped broker Cash Money's deal with Universal.

However, Birdman didn't pay her for her role in the deal.  Years later, Day would explain why Baby didn't buck up the money he owed her.

"[Birdman] said to me, ‘Sue me, when I have to pay you, you’ll get paid.’ He said it very nonchalantly and very matter-of-factly, and as time wore on I saw that he didn't pay anybody,” added Day. "He didn't pay the t-shirt manufacturers, he didn't pay the Fruit of Islam for security, he didn't pay security guards for security, he didn't pay his staff, he didn't pay his office rent. They didn't pay anybody."

She said that in 2015.  Since then, Baby has made the news for not paying his artists, his mortgage, and his cleaning staff.

Now he's is being sued for not paying the rent on his Los Angeles pad, a  7-bedroom, 9-bathroom, 7,509 sq. ft. mansion on Bel Air Road.

For some reason, Cycad Management leased the 33K month estate to Baby on a month-to-month basis.

He hasn't paid in almost five months and owes a total of 147K.  Cycad is asking the court to make Birdman give them their money and make him leave the mansion by December 31.
