Birdman And Slim Crack Billboard's Power 100 List; Jay Z Snubbed After Being #1 In 2014

Cash Money records is getting it from all sides. But the label just received a rare glimmer of good PR from Billboard magazine, which included CM founders Baby and Slim Williams in their annual ranking of the most powerful music industry figures.

The brothers were ranked 90th in a list that was topped by Universal Music Group Chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge.

The top Hip Hop figures were Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre long-time partner, at 5th, and Roc Nation co-founder Jay Brown at 30th. Interestingly, neither Dre or Jay Z made the list. Even more interestingly because just last year Billboard made Hov and wife Beyonce their Power 100 co-number ones.

Back to Birdman and Slim; their 90th ranking was actually a 40 spot drop from last year, so it wasn't that good PR.
