Billie Eilish Says Most Rap is Cap

by HHL JT

At this year's Grammys, 17-year-old Billie Eilish became the second person to ever sweep the Big Four awards of Best Album, Song, Record and New Artist.

While she's most definitely a pop singer, Eilish usually cites rappers among her influences and maintains a creepy texting relationship with Drake.

However, she does have one criticism of the genre and it has to do with truthiness.

“Just because the story isn’t real doesn’t mean it can’t be important,” she told Vogue. “There’s a difference between lying in a song and writing a story. There are tons of songs where people are just lying. There’s a lot of that in rap right now, from people that I know who rap.  It’s like, ‘I got my AK-47, and I’m f*ckin’,’ and I’m like, what? You don’t have a gun. ‘And all my b*tches …’ I’m like, which b*tches? That’s posturing, and that’s not what I’m doing."

Is Billie speaking facts and if so who is she talking about?
