In an interview published on the the 20th anniversary of Biggie's death, his mom Voletta Wallace tells The Daily Mail she knows who killed her son -- but she's not naming names.
‘I have a very good idea who murdered Christopher and I genuinely believe that the LAPD know exactly who did too,’ she said. They’ve done their investigation, but they just refuse to move forward. I don’t know why they haven’t arrested who was involved. It seems to me that it’s one giant conspiracy, and someone is definitely being protected somewhere down the line.’In the same article, a source tells The Daily Mail that they believe the bullets which murdered Biggie were meant for Diddy as a revenge for the killing of Biggie’s rap rival Tupac Shakur.
It's a rumor that's been around since the shooting.
