Earlier this year, Big Sean explained that he had left G.O.O.D Music in part because Kanye wasn't paying him.
Then Kanye went off on Sean during Ye's Drink Champs interview for disloyalty.
Now Big Sean has confirmed that Kanye owed him $6 million, which is money G.O.O.D. got from Universal.
“I’m the only artist who has put out five albums under G.O.O.D Music. I’m the only one who put out back-to-back-to-back #1s, platinum albums, double platinum albums… By the way, being signed to Kanye is a golden opportunity. He changed my life and I'm thankful to him for that," Sean said.
When I heard what he was talking about, it didn’t make sense, bro, because you know, my manager saw my record deal and said, ‘this is a sh*tty record deal,'” Sean continued. “I'm saying Roc Nation said it was the worst deal I've ever seen. I had to spend my own money auditing my label because millions of dollars are missing and you could tell when millions of dollars are missing. I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on my label thinking Universal owe me this money and the money had been paid to G.O.O.D. Music.”
Then Sean confirmed that Kanye owes $6 million.
"This isn't me making up a number, I got an auditor to audit the books ... that's nothing to him [but] it's life-changing money to me," Sean said of the $6 million. "I put at least $30 million in his pocket and he has billions."
Sean then added that Kanye hasn't given him back his masters, which he had promised.
