Andre 3000 certainly deserves all of his roses. But Big Boi was a big part of OutKast too, and his fans activated after a Tweet about 3 Stack and some of the reaction to the Tweet appeared to erase Big Boi's legacy.

The reason Outkast is the greatest rap group ever? Andre 3000 is one of the greatest rappers of all time and also Big Boi is one of the greatest rappers of all time. (Also they had some of the greatest production of all time.)

Andre would agree with a lot of what Big Boi's defenders are saying. He famously conceded that Big Boi was a better rapper than him in a 2017 GQ interview.
“Big Boi can rap better than me — I always said that. If somebody said, ‘Pick who you want from Outkast to go to battle with you,’ it wouldn’t be me. ‘Cause like, what I’ma do? Say some mind sh*t? You can’t have thoughts in a battle — nobody gives a sh*t about that.”
