Bhad Bhabie being accused of cultural appropriation is a normal thing since she often braids her hair, wears dark makeup, and uses Black slang.
One time she defended herself by saying it's impossible to act a color.
The topic was brought up again when Bhabie was a guest on Camilla Araujo's podcast, and she explained why being accused of cultural appropriation is ridiculous. [Jump to the 46:46-mark]
"I know for a fact, 100 percent, I don’t want to be Black. I’m comfortable being an Italian, Jewish white girl," Bhabie explained. "I never purposely put makeup on to be darker, I never told a makeup artist to do it, I never did anything to my body to look like a race."
"I just grew up around Black people so yes, I might have an accent, and I might gravitate towards certain things Black people do but even from a young age, I never looked at a Black person and was like, I want to be you," she added.
Some people didn't accept Bhabie's explanation. How about you?
