Benny The Butcher Was Flexing Serious Wealth When Robbed In Walmart Parking Lot

by HHL JT

When Benny The Butcher pulled into a Houston Walmart this weekend, he was flexing some serious wealth.

For that, he paid a price.

According to the Associated Press:

Houston Police spokeswoman Jodi Silva said the 35-year-old performer, whose real name is Jeremie Pennick, was shot in the leg around 4:30 p.m. Saturday in a Walmart parking lot in southwest Houston. As Pennick stepped out of his Rolls Royce, she said five individuals wearing masks approached him and two others who were with him, demanding their chains.

The three began taking off their jewelry but were not moving fast enough for one of the suspects, who subsequently shot the rapper, Silva added.

Benny is from Buffalo, so he was a long way from home when he got caught.

Do you think Benny -- who is in stable condition after taking one in the leg -- should have taken a rental Rolls to a discount department store? (We're assuming it's a rental and he didn't drive the car from New York state to Texas.)
