Benny The Butcher Says He's the Face Of Def Jam

by Daryl Nelson

Benny The Butcher stopped by L.A. Leakers to promote his Tana Talk 4 project, and he spit over DMX's song “N*ggaz Done Started Something,” featuring The LOX and Mase.

The Buffalo rhymer recently signed to Def Jam, a move that was finessed by Snoop Dogg. Snoop even got Benny more money out of the deal after he was lowballed.

During his L.A. Leakers freestyle, Benny said that he's the top artist at Def Jam, a label that has people like 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Dave East, and Fabolous on its roster.

He also said that everyone has been influenced by New York's style.

“Face of Def Jam, and we plan on changing the score / This time around, this street sh*t gon’ get some label support / Thankful for legends who paved the way but ain’t get awards / ‘Cause every hustler at the table done took some game from New York.," spit Benny.

Would you agree that he's the face of Def Jam and that everyone has gotten "some game from New York?"
