Beenie Man Blasts Billboard for Leaving Him Off 'Verzuz' Cover

by Daryl Nelson

Beenie Man is none too pleased about being left off of a Billboard magazine cover that’s dedicated to Verzuz.

The magazine released the cover this week and while it had Verzuz participants like Snoop Dogg, DMX, Babyface, and Teddy Riley on it, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer were left off.

Swizz and Timbaland, Verzuz founders, caught some serious backlash afterward. So Swizz created his own cover with Beenie and Bounty included.

A lot of people mentioned that the dancehall legends had the best Verzuz battle yet. Beenie and Bounty also performed against each other instead of playing music from separate locations, which changed the format.

Beenie took to Twitter after the cover dropped and went in on Billboard.

Would you say that dancehall constantly gets disrespected like Beenie says?
